An Eclectic Sound and Thought-Provoking Lyrics
The quintet’s music is a perfect juxtaposition of rousing covers and their own original tracks. They perform “Jesus Is Just Alright With Me,” among other covers. Their catchy and driving song “Jesus Lives in Mexico” has a hint of politics and is written about a man who claimed to be Christ and was living in Mexico. Cain’s songwriting explores far-out themes like reincarnation and other esoteric ideas. His upbringing in a Pentecostal church in Oklahoma and graduation from Bible college influence his writing.
Atlantis Aquarius released their debut EP in 2017. Their initial growth spurt was kick-started by the inclusion of “Nibirian Sun” on several top Spotify playlists. They have since toured the country.
